About Us
 

Dr. Robert Lee earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa.  He then completed his family medicine residency in Grand Rapids, MI.  He has been practicing in the Des Moines area since then.  He is interested in preventative medicine, sports medicine and men''s health. 

Dr. Lee is a past president of the Iowa Academy of Family Physicians.  He is actively involved in the community, currently serving on the Board for the Science Center of Iowa.  Dr. Lee is a team physician for the Des Moines Buccaneers hockey team and the Urbandale High School sports teams.  He is also a past member of the Urbandale Library board and is on the Iowa Medical Society Sports Medicine Committee. 

Dr. Abbie Ruisch earned her medical degree from Des Moines University.  She then completed her residency in family medicine at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.  As a Des Moines native, Dr. Ruisch is happy to be able to serve the community in which she grew up.  Her interests are pediatrics, women''s health issues and preventative medicine.

Dr. Ruisch is actively involved in music and leadership in her church.  She is a past member of the board of directors for Ruth Harbor, a local maternity home. She currently serves as Medical Director at Free Clinics of Iowa.  She is a board member of Johnston''s Partnership for a Healthy Community, an organization which focuses on violence prevention, safety, healthy living and mentoring of at-risk students.  She has recently joined the advisory board for Hospice of Central Iowa.
